摘要: This qualitative research study explores the various demands of high performance athletes who are still at school. There is an increasing number such children in Australia (Australian Bureau Statistics [ABS], 2009), and this means that these young people, under age 18, engaged two demanding, full-time ‘lives’; being a school student level athlete. Three phenomena have resulted growing school-age athletes. One range international sports competitions. The second younger many competitors, third requirement Australian educational jurisdictions for people to stay until they 17 years old. These meet commitments both athlete; essence, trying fit lives into one.
