摘要: Abstract Peroxisome proliferator-activated receptors (PPARs) are members of the nuclear hormone receptor superfamily that can be activated by various xenobiotics and natural fatty acids. These transcription factors primarily regulate genes involved in lipid metabolism also play a role adipocyte differentiation. We present expression patterns PPAR subtypes adult rat, determined situ hybridization using specific probes for PPAR-alpha, -beta -gamma, immunohistochemistry polyclonal antibody recognizes three rat subtypes. In numerous cell types from either ectodermal, mesodermal, or endodermal origin, PPARs coexpressed, with relative levels varying between them one type to other. PPAR-alpha is highly expressed hepatocytes, cardiomyocytes, enterocytes, proximal tubule cells kidney. PPAR-beta ubiquitously often at higher than -gamma. PPAR-gamma predominantly adipose tissue immune system. Our results suggest new potential directions investigate functions different
