1000% colossal magnetoresistance at room temperature in the A-site ordered perovskite manganites, Sm1−xLax+yBa1−yMn2O6

摘要: We report colossal magnetoresistance at room temperature by introducing disorder to the A-site ordered manganites, SmBaMn2O6. SmBaMn2O6 shows metal CE-type charge/orbital insulator transition 375K above temperature. have achieved a effect of 340% and 300%–600% around under 9T in sintered sample Sm0.90La0.24Ba0.86Mn2O6. By using single crystal (%) was elevated 1000% 9T, high value for bulk transition-metal oxides.
