摘要: Arizona is one of the first states in nation to regulate agricultural practices order reduce dust emissions near urban areas. This best management practice program requires mitigation actions some combination tillage and harvest, cropland, noncropland activities. Single pass multiple operation equipment represents a viable from operations. Partial budgeting contingent valuation methods were used estimate potential profitability willingness-to-adopt reduced equipment, respectively. At $39 $64 ha-1 ($16 $26 ac-1) long-term net benefits associated with single we that adoption will occur on approximately 10% 35% cotton hectares. However, uncertainty over operating costs yield variability may this rate adoption. As result, most through reduction number conventional operations due global competitive pressures urbanization lands.
