摘要: Generally speaking, friendships in childhood are associated with positive outcomes and being disliked is negative (Parker & Asher,1987). More specifically, social skills have been linked to academic achievement, psychological adjustment, coping skills, employment (Miles Stipek,2006). Conversely, deficits maladaptive behaviors an integral part of the diagnostic criteria a variety disorders within Diagnostic Statistical Manual Mental Disorders-Fourth Edition, Text Revision (DSM-IV-TR; American Psychiatric Association, 2000). Social problems also used demonstrate impairment functioning that considered for most diagnoses. Research involving behavior has included many definitional inconsistencies; thus there attempts define conceptualize children adolescents. In this chapter we will review basic definitions conceptualizations behavior. This provide broad overview assessment treatment problems.
