摘要: Abstract This comprehensive study employed a new design of drum solar still which keeps the basin water depth constant using head tank. Three stills nominated as (DSS), modified (MDSS), and conventional (CSS) were tested under same environmental conditions to be able compare between their performances in fair. Both DSS MDSS had free rotate fixed on rotating shaft run by DC motor. A PV system was used eliminate use traditional sources energy. Besides, effects flat-sheet glass cover instead semi-circular shape, mirrors rear high-wall, front small-wall from sheet, nanoparticles performance investigated. Various speeds point out optimum speed rotation for with without wick. Results revealed that obtained better than other stills.
