摘要: Objective and design. In a randomized controlled study, we investigated whether pain anticipation fear-avoidance beliefs will lead to behavioral avoidance. Patients. Fifty patients with chronic low back (CLBP) performed simple flexion_legend_span task. Before the test, members of control group were informed that movement would not result in any increase pain, whereas experimental participants told slight could occur. Outcome measures. All completed Fear-Avoidance-Beliefs Questionnaire (FABQ) Pain Disability Index (PDI). As dependent variables, different performance parameters registered by computerized protocol: number flexion movements, mean range motion, work ratio. Furthermore, asked about their intensity as well fear (at moment) finally judge unpleasantness experiment (using visual analogue scales for each three variables). Results. Inducing (by instruction) led significantly lower levels increased during test. Behavioral was correlated beliefs. Conclusions. Results confirm influence behavior they motivate avoidance behavior. Therapists must be aware powerful effects cognitive processes, which can give rise and, consequently,
