Long-chain alkyl-substituted gentisic acid and benzoquinone derivatives from the root of Micronychia tsiramiramy (Anacardiaceae)

摘要: A new gentisic acid derivative named micronyc (1) and a 1,4-benzoquinone micronone (2) have been isolated from the root of Micronychia tsiramiramy together with known compounds gallic (3), methyl gallate (4), moronic (5), masticadienolic (6), masticadienediol (7). The structures 1 2 were established using MS NMR. Compound was tested for antiplasmodial activity in vitro against chloroquine-resistant strain Plasmodium falciparum W2 displayed moderate an IC50 value 25.6 mu m. Compounds its acetyl 1a also their cytotoxicity human cervix carcinoma cell line KB-3-1 still showed activity.
