摘要: The interaction between cancer cells and microenvironment has a critical role in tumor development progression. Although microRNAs regulate all the major biological mechanisms, their influence on is largely unexplored. Here, we investigate of tumor-supportive capacity stromal cells. We demonstrated that miR-15 miR-16 are downregulated fibroblasts surrounding prostate tumors majority 23 patients analyzed. Such downregulation cancer-associated (CAFs) promoted growth progression through reduced post-transcriptional repression Fgf-2 its receptor Fgfr1, which act both to enhance cell survival, proliferation migration. Moreover, reconstitution impaired considerably capability vitro vivo. Our data suggest molecular circuitry correlated targets cooperate promote expansion invasiveness concurrent activity cells, thus providing further support therapies aimed at reconstituting advanced cancer.
