摘要: Abstract Tee pipes are commonly used in piping systems and multichannel networks various industries. When two fluids at different temperatures mixing turbulently a tee pipe, the mass flow rate ratio Qm,m/Qm,b is large, both turbulent penetration thermal stratification may appear simultaneously branch pipe. The temperature fluctuation induced by lead to high-cycle fatigue of pipe structure, pipeline distortion support damage. This test section has reference meaning some typical pipelines nuclear power plant. In this study, behavior heat transfer phenomena horizontally arranged under hot cold studied us with experiment numerical simulation based on CFD software package FLUENT 16.0. Results show that length zone “Ltp” “Lts” tend increase Qm,m/Qm,b. As root cause behaviors combined effect buoyancy lift inertia force. To obtain complete description behavior, simulations still essential.
