摘要: A novel combined thermoelectric power generation and water desalination system is described with a schematic. The proposed utilises low grade thermal energy to heat generators for desalination. theoretical analysis presents the governing equations estimate systems performance characteristics experimental validation. Experimental set-up consists of an electric source, modules, pipes, sink evaporator vessel. Four pipes are embedded in spreader block passively cool bottom side cells. condenser these four immersed pool saline stored evaporation vessel which maintained at sub-atmospheric pressure. liquid vapour phase change cooling method achieve saturation temperature offers high transfer coefficient generators. At same time this extracted from cold generator It was observed that temperatures greater flux could be supplied less losses atmosphere.
