摘要: This study demonstrates that both synthetic and natural endocrine disrupting chemicals (EDCs) (e.g., bisphenol A, estrone 17beta-estradiol) were found in the crude wastewaters from two wastewater treatment works (WwTWs). Conventional biological processes can lower EDCs concentrations to several tens hundreds ngl(-1). Since have activity adverse impact on environment at extremely low (several of ngl(-1)), further after conventional is required. Preliminary trials with ferrate(VI) electrochemical oxidation process demonstrated effectively reduce very levels, ranging between 10 100ngl(-1), but former more effective than latter COD concentration for given studying conditions.
