Expression of immune-related genes in rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss) induced by probiotic bacteria during Lactococcus garvieae infection

摘要: The aim of the present study was to investigate effect lactic acid bacteria (LAB) on control lactococcosis as well assess impact probiotics expression immune-related genes in head kidney and intestine rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss). Lactobacillus plantarum, Lactococcus lactis Leuconostoc mesenteroides, were administered orally at 10⁶ CFU g⁻¹ feed fish for 36 days. Twenty-one days after start feeding period, challenged with garvieae. Only fed diet containing Lb. plantarum showed significantly (P < 0.05) improved protection against L. garvieae compared control. Subsequently, real-time PCR employed determine mRNA levels IL-1β, IL-8, IL-10 TNF-α kidney, Tlr5 IgT groups. gene up-regulated by plantarum. Moreover, IL-10, IL-8 higher group infection, suggesting that can stimulate immune response trout. PCR-DGGE revealed no detectable or pathogen distal intestinal mucosa. These findings demonstrate direct probiotic-host interactions are not always necessary induce host stimulatory responses which ultimately enhance disease resistance. Furthermore, did colonise tract, therefore likely infect via this route, antagonistic properties probiotic candidate towards little influence mediating resistance could be attributed elevated immunological response.
