摘要: The Internet of Things (IoT) represents a major change in sensor data collection. It is predicted that 50 billion devices will produce large amount by 2020. This needs to be stored efficiently so it can retrieved on demand for real-time application. Most the Cloud-IoT solutions focus centralized collection and storage which not appropriate efficient utilization. For addressing such diverse set requirements, resources are placed near sources processing fast decision making instead sending all Cloud. gateway type edge device collects from smart sensors, but does have any pre-processing or decision-making capabilities. Therefore, has made smarter with Fog capabilities named as Smart Gateway(FSG). We represent distributed solution where optimally among mini-clouds/Fog nodes. IoT traffic taken care Virtual Machines(VMs) facilitated nodes located within devices. optimized number mini-clouds placement reduce total latency power consumption induced aggregation processing. However, there been little research fog node placement. Our results show optimal distribution network could yield energy saving reduction compared conventional cloud system.
