摘要: Larvicidal activity against the Colorado potato beetle Leptinotarsa decemlineata (Say) was measured for a series of N-tert-butyl-dibenzoylhydrazines having various substituents on benzoyl (A-ring) moiety nearer to tert-butyl group, with other (B-ring) being unsubstituted. The effects these substituent larvicidal were analyzed using classical quantitative structure-activity relationship (QSAR) procedures. A-ring entirely different from those lepidopteran rice stem borer Chilo suppressalis (Walker) previously reported. Position-specific steric and hydrophobic effects, as well certain substitution patterns, likely participate in modifying activity. para-substituted compounds generally lower than that un-, ortho- meta-substituted compounds. Most multi-substituted showed an equivalent or unsubstituted compound. Among 46 tested, 2-sec-butoxy analogue most potent L decemlineata, although this compound had been shown be only weakly active C suppressalis.
