摘要: The bioelectric recognition assay (BERA) is a novel biosensory method based on unique combination of group cells, their immobilization in matrix that preserves physiological functions and the expression cell interaction with viruses as change electrical properties. A BERA sensor consists an electroconductive, tube-like probe containing components immobilized cells gel matrix. Cells are selected to specifically interact virus under detection. In this way, when positive sample added probe, characteristic, 'signature-like' potential occurs upon contact between present study, we demonstrate can be used for detection humans (hepatitis C virus) plants (tobacco cucumber viruses) remarkably specific, rapid (1-2 min), reproducible cost-efficient fashion. sensitivity (0.1 ng) equal or even better than advanced immunological, cytological molecular techniques, such reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction. Moreover, good storability sensors achieved without affecting performance. use portable biosensors medicine, mass screening purposes, well biological warfare agents prior knowledge specific receptor-molecule discussed.
