BiVO4 nanoparticles: Preparation, characterization and photocatalytic activity

摘要: AbstractBismuth vanadate (BiVO4) nanoparticles were synthesized by a simple thermal decomposition method. The bismuth characterized X-ray diffraction analysis, it is found that the sample belongs to monoclinic BiVO4. Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy confirms formation of Bi-O bond in sample. Ultraviolet–Visible (DRS-UV–Visible) and photoluminescence reveal optical property BiVO4 nanoparticles. morphology was identified both scanning electron microscopy high-resolution transmission microscopy. Further, photocatalytic activity investigated photodegradation methylene blue as model organic pollutant.
