Simulation of quantum random walks using the interference of a classical field

摘要: We suggest a theoretical scheme for the simulation of quantum random walks on line using beam splitters, phase shifters, and photodetectors. Our model enables us to simulate walk wave nature classical light fields. Furthermore, proposed setup allows analysis effects decoherence. The transition from pure mean-photon-number distribution one is studied varying decoherence parameters.
