eHealth for people with multimorbidity: Results from the ICARE4EU project and insights from the “10 e’s” by Gunther Eysenbach

摘要: Background People with multimorbidity, especially older people, have complex health and social needs, require an integrated care approach. In this respect, eHealth could be of support. This paper aims to describe the implementation technologies in programs for people multimorbidity Europe, analyse related benefits barriers according outcomes from ICARE4EU study within more general conceptual framework “10 e's” by Gunther Eysenbach. Methods In 2014, project identified 101 24 European countries. Expert organizations managers completed on-line questionnaire addressing several aspects including adoption eHealth. Findings were analyzed, linking particular Eysenbach (Efficiency, Enhancing, Evidence-based, Empowerment, Encouragement, Education, Enabling, Extending, Ethics, Equity). Results Out programs, 85 adopted tools, which 42 focused explicitly on people. improve integration/management, quality care/life cost-efficiency, whereas inadequate funding represents a major barrier.
