摘要: Abstract The processes behind the heterogeneous distribution of species involve a combination environmental and spatial effects. In context, stream networks constitute appropriate systems to compare relative importance two dispersal modes in aquatic organisms: overland watercourse dispersal. present study, we analyzed ostracod river network eastern Iberian Peninsula, with variation partitioning between factors, using Moran Asymmetric Eigenvector Maps (MEMs, AEMs) as variables. Our aims were determine control for passively-dispersing organisms. results suggest that was most important mode, favoring mass-effects. role sorting significant related temperature, width water quality, measured biotic index (IBMWP). These stress major connectivity, besides niche-related structuring riverine communities
