摘要: Abstract A SnO 2 ·Bi O 3 coating was deposited on the surface of Al 18 B 4 33 whiskers. pure aluminum matrix composite reinforced by an whisker with coatings fabricated squeeze casting method. Sn and Bi particles were introduced to whisker/Al interface during casting, resulting in formation Bi–Sn two-component eutectic. The effects contents damping properties coated composites at various temperatures, frequencies, strain amplitudes examined. results characterization indicated that capacity strongly depends contents, vibration frequencies. peak about 150 °C appeared composites, mechanism is related interfacial slip caused molten critical temperature damping-temperature curves has been found for first time when frequencies changed. dominant mechanisms changed from dislocation below above temperature, respectively. decreases increasing contents.
