摘要: Over the past 15 years, three distinct models have been used to characterize factor structure of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). These correspond descriptions as outlined in DSM-III, DSM-III-R, and now, DSM-IV. Specifically, inattention, impulsivity, were treated separate constructs. In ADHD was a unitary construct. DSM-IV, impulsivity remain combined, but inattention is considered The present study examined compared each these using confirmatory analyses. A final set comparisons conducted examining symptoms together with oppositional defiant disorder/conduct (ODD/CD) symptoms. Although support for three-factor model (DSM-III version) obtained when isolation, two-factor (DSM-IV supported ODD/CD part comprehensive disruptive behavior disorders.
