摘要: Abstract The use of regression, ordination and dynamic ecosystem modelling in limnology is discussed by evaluating some the vices virtues these techniques. Both general characteristics approaches a few examples are used to stress importance analysis residuals for evaluation models. Not completely unexpected, simple model did not perform worse than complicated model, both applied same lake system. models shown fail prediction purposes, mainly because error variance data parameter estimation large compared that can be explained. Integration multivariate modelling, all followed residuals, advised. Nested proposed as solution problem changing parameters being different among lakes.
