摘要: The study of natural olfaction can assist in developing more robust and sensitive artificial chemical sensing systems. Here we present the implementation on an indoor fully autonomous wheeled robot two insect models for odor classification localization based moth behavior insect’s olfactory pathway. Using biologically signal encoding scheme Temporal Population Code (TPC) as a model antenna lobe, is able to identify locate source odors using real-time chemosensor signals. results tests performed show successful ethanol ammonia under controlled conditions. Moreover, comparison between obtained with without algorithm, shows effect itself performance classifier, suggesting that insects may be optimized specific sensor they deploy discrimination.
