摘要: Drugs which directly counteract nitric oxide (NO), such as endothelial receptor blockers, NO-synthase inhibitors, and NO-scavengers, may be effective in the acute treatment of migraine, but are also likely to migraine prophylaxis. In underlying pilot study prophylactic effect NO scavenger hydroxocobalamin after intranasal administration was evaluated. Twenty patients, with a history > 1 year two eight attacks per month, were included an open trial. A baseline period followed by active 3 months mg daily. Patients instructed complete diary details each attack described. reduction frequency >/ or = 50% seen 10 19 corresponds 53% patients (responders). 30% noted 63% patients.
