摘要: Wireless LAN (WLAN) positioning has received much attention recently and location fingerprinting been widely accepted as an effect method. In WLAN positioning, the mobile user’s (MU) orientation a significant impact on signal strength from access point. Many researchers have noticed this considered it when fingerprint database is generated. paper, directional information used not only to increase accuracy, but also estimate MU’s orientation. A direction-based technique proposed. An experiment was carried out verify new approach. The results show direction based approach can successfully localize MU direction.
