摘要: Publisher Summary This chapter discusses concept of probability in psychological experiments. Probability theory, the chapter, is seen as a branch mathematics, representing no more than an application measure theory. The classification interpretations. attributes objective and subjective are used. Subjective probabilities here degrees belief may also be called “personal probabilities.” One can distinguish between intended to describe actual behavior, which typically what interests psychologists, theory aimed at characterizing coherent behavior. Coherence equivalent condition that laws obeyed. Objective interpretations based on arguments symmetry, is, equiprobable cases, or “objective revealed by frequency.” An then physical property object estimated with sufficient precision repeated measurement under identical conditions.
