摘要: Abstract Gas-turbine inlet air cooling has been considered for boosting the power output during hot seasons. In this paper, requirements of several techniques gas-turbine plants in two locations; namely, Marmul and Fahud, Oman have evaluated using typical meteorological year (TMY) data. The are evaporative cooling, fogging absorption both LiBr–H2O aqua-ammonia, vapour-compression systems. For an 88% approach to wet-bulb temperature considered, compared with a 98% cooling. A design compressor 14 °C assigned LiBr–water chilling aqua-ammonia refrigerating systems, 8 °C selected avoid formation ice fragments as is drawn into mouth compressor. These technologies respect their effectiveness small-size used oil fields at Fahud Sultanate Oman. Fogging accompanied 11.4% more electrical energy comparison locations. offers 40% 55% than Marmul, respectively. Applying aqua-ammonia–water further annual production enhancement 39% 46% expected
