摘要: BACKGROUND Patients with skin of color demand treatment modality suitable for their skin. Salicylic acid peel has effectiveness both acne and postinflammatory hyperpigmentation that are common in patients color. OBJECTIVE To assess the whitening effect salicylic peels Asian objectively by colorimetric method. METHODS Twenty-four healthy adult participated voluntarily study. Any other systemic topical treatments were prohibited. They had undergone full-face 30% absolute ethanol bi-weekly 3 months. Colorimetric changes face recorded reflectance spectrophotometer.
