摘要: Exercise-induced glucose uptake in skeletal muscle is mediated by an insulin-independent mechanism. Although the signalling events that increase transport response to contraction are not fully elucidated, aim of present review briefly current understanding molecular mechanisms involved. Glucose may be regulated Ca++-sensitive contraction-related possibly involving protein kinase C, and reflect metabolic status involve AMP-activated kinase. Furthermore p38 mitogen activated Still, picture incomplete a substantial part exercise/contraction-induced mechanism remains unknown.
