摘要: For hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), surgical resection and radiofrequency ablation (RFA) are accepted as effective treatments. To clarify the long-term outcome in patients with small HCC, we analyzed data from a nationwide survey of Japan. Between 2000 2003, total 2,550 who had undergone (n = 1,235) or RFA (n = 1,315) for single HCC (≤2 cm) were registered to database Liver Cancer Study Group Japan (LCSGJ). After median follow-up period 37 months, disease-free survival after was significantly better than (1-year, 91 vs. 87%; 2-year, 46 25%; P = 0.001), but overall similar (98 99%; 94 95%, P = 0.28). In Child–Pugh class A, (n = 1,056) (n = 965) (P = 0.001), while not different (P = 0.16). class B, both almost (P = 0.63 P = 0.66) (n = 136) (n = 303). (≤2 cm), provides does RFA. Longer is needed regard this indication conclusive.
