Electrochemical performance of LiFePO4 nanorods obtained from hydrothermal process

摘要: Abstract LiFePO4 is a promising candidate for the use as cathode material in lithium-ion batteries, especially batteries hybrid electric vehicles or pure vehicles. In this paper, facile hydrothermal process to obtain and well-crystallized nanorods presented. The phase purity of powder valence state Fe ions were confirmed by high-resolution X-ray diffraction Mossbauer measurements respectively. Transmission electron microscopy observation revealed uniform rod like shape preferred growth along b axis direction prepared powder. Electrochemical test showed good capacity stable cycling performance nanorods, suggesting potential further investigation.
