摘要: Abstract In this study, a series of Nb substituted magnetites; Fe 3− x O 4 (  = 0.0, 0.022, 0.049, 0.099, and 0.19) were prepared characterized by XRD, BET surface area, TEM, VSM, XPS, chemical experiments. The magnetite inverse spinel structure magnetic property maintained in all the synthetized samples. A significant decrease crystal size (≈two times) increase specific area (≈three observed with increased content, resulting higher adsorption capacity addition, reactivity samples was examined through degradation methylene blue solution using Fenton-like reaction. It found that incorporation niobium significantly improved which total MB removal achieved within 180 min at molar ratios  = 0.19). This could be attributed to generated oxygen vacancies on catalysts, contribution introduced cations Fenton oxidation cycle for regeneration 2+ cations, due larger area. 2.79 0.19 /H 2 system well described pseudo-first-order equation kinetics. All showed good stability under studied pH conditions. amount leached not detectable neutral basic solutions reused process several times without their catalytic efficiency. results proved into characteristics effectiveness heterogeneous catalyst treatment recalcitrant effluents.
