摘要: We propose a light-weight fingerprint matching algorithm that can be executed inside the devices with limited computational power. The is based on minutiae local structures (the “neighborhoods”), are invariant respect to global transformations like translation and rotation. match has been implemented smartcard over Java CardTM platform, meeting individual’s need for information privacy overall authentication procedure security. main characteristic of have an asymmetric behavior, in execution time, between correct positive negative matches. performances terms reliability speed were tested some databases from Fingerprint Verification Competition 2002 2004 editions (FVC2002 FVC2004). Moreover, our showed better when compared related same database. achieve false acceptance rate (FAR) 0.1%, rejection about 6%, 0.3 8 s most finger pairs during FAR tests.
