摘要: The objective of this paper is to present a new type volumetric CT which uses the cone-beam technique instead traditional fan-beam technique. machine dedicated dento-maxillo-facial imaging, particularly for planning in field implantology. main characteristics unit are presented with reference technical parameters as well software performance. Images obtained reported various 2D sections volume reconstruction. Also, measurements geometric accuracy and radiation dose absorbed by patient using specific phantoms. Absorbed compared that given off spiral CT. Geometric accuracy, evaluated reconstruction modalities different spatial orientations, 0.8–1 % width 2.2 height measurements. Radiation during scan shows profiles central peripheral axes. As regards maximum value profile, from approximately one sixth system appears be very promising imaging and, due good ratio between performance low cost, together dose, interesting view large-scale use such diagnostic applications.
