摘要: Lippia alba (Mill.) N.E. Brown, the ginger grass, is a medicinal and aromatic plant widely used in Latin America. In this work effect of geographical origin different drying methodologies on L. leaves production, essential oil content composition were evaluated. Field experiments conducted three municipalities (Amargosa, Cruz das Almas Santo Antonio de Jesus) from Bahia region (Brazil) two (traditional artificial with controlled conditions) assessed. Fresh dried oils extracted by hydro-distillation their volatiles determined gas chromatography. The affected mass both qualitative quantitative fractions composition. Leaves had higher yield content. Overall, 26 constituents identified. Carvone, germacrene D limonene main constituents. The combined geographic influenced showing that post-harvest treatments. Some sensitive to methods applied, while some enhanced like D.
