Unfolding of sparse high-energy $\gamma$-ray spectra from LaBr$_{3}$:Ce detectors.

摘要: Here we report on the characterization of one large-volume LaBr$_{3}$:Ce detectors for ELIGANT project at ELI-NP. The main focus this work is response function high-energy $\gamma$ rays such detectors. In particular, compare a selection unfolding methods to resolve small structures in $\gamma$-ray spectra with high-energies. Three have been compared using energies up 12 MeV obtained an experiment 3 MV Tandetron\texttrademark\ facility IFIN-HH. results show that iterative approach gives best qualitative reproduction emitted spectrum. Furthermore, correlation fluctuations regime from method are two orders magnitude smaller than when matrix inversion second derivative regularization. addition, computationally faster as it does not contain large inversions. does, however, give more consistent over full energy range and low-statistics limit. Our conclusion performance makes well suitable semi-online analysis experimental data. These will be important, both experiments setup, on-line diagnostics spread beam which under implementation
