摘要: Stomatogastric nervous systems of the shrimp, Palaemon serratus, were stained with antisera raised against peptide FMRFamide. FMRFamide-like immunoreactivity was found in fibers input nerve to stomatogastric ganglion (STG), several STG somata, dense neuropil STG, motor nerves that innervate dilator muscles pyloric region, but not (PD) neurons. FMRFamide and peptides elicited sequences rhythmic depolarizations contractions muscle. As concentrations increased, a discrete threshold for contraction found, above which initiated decreasing latency an all-or-none fashion. Muscles stopped rhythmically contracting after many seconds minutes activity; duration spontaneous oscillatory activity proportional concentration applied peptide. In absence peptide, each neuron discharge evoked small graded muscle contractions. During peptide-induced oscillations, did always entrain oscillations. After oscillations had stopped, when neurons stimulated presence burst large amplitude as result regenerative properties membrane.
