摘要: In an in-flight refueling system of aircraft having a recess therein containing slipway leading to fuel inlet port, improvement is provided in the form guideway a) pair lead-in lines on surface which taper and converge towards port b) plurality dashes or bars surface, spaced longitudinally between lines, desired distance apart, provide visual cues aiding operator guiding boom nozzle from receiving aircraft, visually more salient means achieve quick effective hook-up while avoiding minimizing strikes that can damage its nozzle.
