摘要: This study investigates loss of productive vocabulary in oral language, specifically Portuguese as a third language for two English-Hebrew bilingual children, ages 9 and 13. The investigated the lexical storytelling behavior after 1, 3, months discontinued contact with language. analysis focused on nature attrited lexicon, production strategies used to compensate forgotten vocabulary, retrieval processes during children's dominant languages.A significant decrease was found total number words produced stories children months, both comparison word earlier English Hebrew stories.
