摘要: Neurons, or nerve cells, are basic timers in our bodies; they also play a central role storing and processing information brains. This book introduces neuron physiology some mathematical methods that can help us to understand how neurons work. The author's aim is uncover frequency-response properties of show neural networks support stable patterns synchronized firing. He does this using novel electrical circuit model neuron, called VCON, which shares many features with the Hodgkin-Huxley model, though it much simpler study. makes suitable for advanced undergraduate new graduate students studying biology.
