摘要: Herpes simplex virus-1 (HSV-1) is an enveloped dsDNA virus, infecting ~ 67% of humans. Here, we present the essential components HSV-1, focusing on stunning symmetries capsid. However, little known about how are involved dynamically in self-assembly process. We suggest small angle X-ray scattering as a suitable method to capture dynamics self-assembly. Furthermore, our understanding viruses can be expanded by using integrative approach that combines heterogeneous types data, thus promoting new diagnostic tools and cure for viral infections.
