摘要: Network Function Virtualization (NFV) and Software-Defined Networking (SDN) are two paradigms that have attracted much attention in the networking field. The first permits implementation of Functions (NFs) on commodity servers located datacenters. second facilitates management routing network flows by controllers. While recent work has mostly explored use NFV SDN with goal minimizing resources to satisfy a set requested NFs, application these not been studied scenarios where limited. Those typical when parts or datacenters fail. Hence, this paper presents an optimization scheme based integer linear programming (ILP) for joint placement virtual NFs problem. Given requests, each consisting end points traffic flow, objective is maximization number satisfied. At same, minimizes both infrastructure costs requests. numerical results demonstrate proposed ILP can be used small/medium-sized networks, also low-complexity greedy heuristic approach large networks.
