摘要: Second-generation liquid fuels are now at the development stage that precedes their industrial implementation. They offer significant market opportunities for French lignocellulosic resources both from forests and crops. Those limited and it is important to avoid competing against food crops or destabilising the sectors already operate. It therefore essential actors in research on these and processes work partnership produce a common response issues. The REGIX project has provided an assessment of suitability various types cultivated biomass needs of processes producing second-generation biofuels via biochemical thermochemical processes. This article provides overview this approach four classes forest biomass: short very rotation coppice (SRC VSRC), wood chips hardwoods softwoods. results show these classes well-suited most specifications processes, but number drawbacks were also noted, particular VSRC.
