摘要: Abstract The mechanisms of action and efficacy four isolates (GS37, GS88, GA102, BIO126) the yeast Metschnikowia pulcherrima against Botrytis cinerea , Penicillium expansum Alternaria sp., Monilia all postharvest pathogens apple fruit, were studied in vitro on apples, controlled semi-commercial conditions. An application a cell suspension (10 8 cells per ml) antagonists artificial wounds apples reduced growth B. P. after storage at 23 °C. A complete suppression pathogen was obtained stored 23 °C, 4 °C. results sp. more variable. Applications culture filtrates autoclaved ineffective reducing diameter lesions supporting hypothesis that living are necessary for biocontrol. In experiments antagonism vitro, different solid substrates, reduction mycelium resulted, so that, least could produce some diffusible toxic metabolites. co-cultivation synthetic medium, spore 5 ml −1 ) germination completely inhibited by presence 10 antagonists, while suspensions not able to reduce germination. Dipping boxes cv. Golden delicious 7 antagonist storing months atmosphere 1 °C, showed levels control similar those from thiabendazole.
