摘要: When designing mechanisms, making use of examples in past designs and handbooks should lead to cost reduction by promoting the sharing parts subassemblies among products, as well reductions time effort. At present, however, process surveying design is left almost entirely human designers, little computerised aid has been developed. This chapter describes a method retrieving mechanism from library specifying required behaviour using qualitative configuration space retrieval index.
