摘要: The survival process of newly induced inversions in infinite populations was investigated. system formulated as a branching inversion descendants discrete time, and the method probability generating functions applied. fitness value time-dependent variable, represented time-heterogeneous process. In order to deal with such heterogeneous process, an approximate developed on basis continuous time approximation. Using this method, solutions ultimate probabilities were obtained for relatively simple genetic situations. It also shown that extinction any new is certain unless provided unique mechanism by which it can permanently maintain some selective superiority.
