摘要: The Chengjiang fossil lagerstatte has yielded four described species of dinocaridids. These have been interpreted either as arthropods or arthropod progenitors, occasionally with the anomalocaridid Parapeytoia yunnanensis serving a link. This view is rejected both because anomalocaridids number derived characters absent from early arthropods, and also shared origin gives more parsimonious picture. Sclerites thought to belong mouth P. differ fundamentally those its holotype other It appears that they new large priapulid, here Omnidens amplus gen. et sp. nov.
