Development of Novel Home Automation System via Raspberry Pi

摘要: Automation is not a new idea in our modern life. Large businesses and wealthy homeowners have used this technology for years now [1]. This automation concept can benefit daily lives through many ways. The aim of this project to develop Home System that focused on helping handicapped elderly people perform their chores routine such as turn on or off fan light, so it can be done wirelessly by using handheld devices Smartphone. This system will be based Raspberry Pi, designed be an affordable reliable home yet, easy to setup use. It hoped provide better living environment, also reduce wastage electricity giving user the power control, conserve react according user needs, done scheduling function for automatic operation appliances.
