摘要: Hadhramout province is the major producer of dates in The Republic Yemen. Despite producing substantial quantity and quality dates, business losses are still high. situation worsens with widespread black market activities. Recently, Yemeni government has issued an agreement stating importance building a date palm packaging factory as resolution to problems. Hence, this study aims identify best location for among seven districts which produce most supplies Hadhramout. selection was based on eleven criteria identified by several representatives from farmers local councils. These were growth, proximity markets, raw materials, labor, labor climate, suppliers, community, transportation cost, environmental factors, production set up cost. level respective weight each criterion calculated using two different approaches, namely, Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) Rank Order Centroid (ROC). In applying AHP, slight modification made pairwise comparison exercises that eliminated inconsistency problem faced standard AHP procedure. Likewise, ROC, normalization technique proposed tackle assigning weights having same priority level, neither clarified nor available ROC. Both techniques revealed suppliers important criterion, while community regarded be least deciding final factory. Combining together hard soft constraints required satisfied location, determined three mathematical models, ROC combined 0-1 integer programming model, mean model. models produced result; Doean location. result study, if implemented, would hopefully help their effort improve well management tree
